Annual Symposium

The annual MCA symposium is a key event for health professionals working to reduce alcohol-related health harms and will take place in-person with all the networking and communication advantages this offers.

We aim our programme at clinicians and researchers across disciplines and specialties, highlighting both new research and policy and practical applications.

The MCA holds an annual Max Glatt memorial lecture, awarding the Max Glatt medal to the speaker. Max Glatt lecturers are selected by the MCA Executive Committee on the basis of an outstanding contribution to the alcohol and health field.
